About the Author

Patricia Dol photo

As my kids grew, I found myself constantly writing new material for them. Whether it was crafting elaborate campfire stories during summer camping trips or coming up with creative bedtime tales, I always aimed to keep their imaginations running wild. Even when we were stuck waiting in lines or on long car rides, it was easy to come up with something silly and fun to keep them entertained. I was asked more often than not to tell stories “out of my head” (as my children would say).

It’s always been my belief that the power of storytelling is timeless and can inspire a love of reading in even the most reluctant little ones. Plus, it was just an excuse for me to indulge in my own love of writing and let my creative juices flow.
