I’m Back! Two New Children’s Books to Share!

Hello friends! It’s been a while since I’ve written a blog post. I have some exciting news to share – I just published two new children’s books on Amazon kindle! I can’t tell you how excited I am to be back to writing again after these crazy times. Between homeschooling, working, and a little thing like a “global pandemic”,  it’s safe to say that we all have a lot on our plates right now. But amidst all the chaos and uncertainty, it’s important to find moments of joy and connection with our children.

It’s important to stay focused on what’s important , and prioritize quality family time. This can be as simple as sitting down for dinner together every night, or taking a walk in the neighborhood. Finding joy in small moments like these can help bring some much-needed positivity into our lives.

It’s also important to make sure we’re taking care of ourselves as parents. Setting aside time for self-care and relaxation can help us be more present and engaged with our children. And don’t forget to lean on your support system – whether it’s friends, family, or a therapist – for additional assistance in navigating these uncertain times.

As my children have grown up so much over these last few years, I find myself thinking back to the days when they would ask me for stories. Often they would rather have me make up stories “out of my head” than read one. I finally decided to start writing down some of my stories, just for fun. But as I shared them with friends and family, I received such positive feedback that I decided to take it further and pursue publishing. Both new children’s books are available on Amazon Kindle and Kindle Unlimited.

First New Children’s Book – Jane and the Fearful Dragon

Jane and the Fearful Dragon is a story about fear and friendship. Jane’s dragon, Rudy, is scared of everything which can sometimes be quite frustrating to Jane. One day, Jane and Rudy take a walk through the forest on their way to visit Aunt Rachel. On their walk they meet some silly characters and through their adventures they learn that together they can conquer their fear and be brave.

Second New Children’s Book – I Know a Monster

I Know a Monster is lighthearted story that rhymes and introduces monsters who live in places you would never expect around the house! As you read, get to know each monster better and learn their hysterical names.

I had so much fun writing both of these books, and I hope your kids will enjoy them as well. Both books can be found on the Amazon Kindle (US and CANADA) site. Thanks for reading, and I’ll be back soon with another blog post!
