As my kids grew, I found myself constantly writing new material for them. I told creepy campfire stories and inventive bedtime stories to spark their imaginations. Telling stories would keep them occupied during long car rides or long lines. I was asked more often than not to tell stories “out of my head” (as my children would say. With all these stories, it only made sense that I should write children’s books.
It’s always been my belief that the power of storytelling is timeless and can inspire a love of reading in even the most reluctant little ones. It also let me write and be creative.
These first few stories are simply the start of many more projects to come as I begin recording all the stories floating around in my head. Who knows, maybe one day my kids will be sharing my stories with their own kids.
So make sure and check back frequently as I will be adding new children’s books regularly!
